How do you cut a rectangular cake into two equal pieces when someone ....

How do you cut a rectangular cake into two equal pieces when someone has already taken a rectangular piece from it? The removed piece an be any size or at any place in the cake. You are only allowed one straight cut.

    Slice the cake half-way through the depth of the cake (look through the side of the cake). This way no matter what size the slice removed is or where it is removed, you will still have two equal pieces

    Find the centers of the two rectangles and draw a line passing from those points, cut along that line.

    cut it any way you want...
    dont cut a rectangles out of a circular cake
